Help Beautify Our Neighborhood – Volunteer for Motor City Makeover!

We’re excited to invite you to join this year's Motor City Makeover, a city-wide initiative that transforms our parks and public spaces into vibrant community hubs! We need your hands and hearts to help spruce up our neighborhood.

Event Details:

• Activities Include: Preparing and planting flower beds, mulching around trees, trimming bushes, and general tidying up of our parks.
• Date: May 4
• Time: 10am - 2pm (Feel free to come for as little or as long as you can – every minute helps!)
• Location: Sherwood Park and other spaces

Why Volunteer?

• Make a Difference: Your involvement directly enhances the beauty and utility of our shared spaces.
• Meet Your Neighbors: Great opportunity to connect with fellow residents and make new friends.
• Supplies Provided: The city, along with the Sherwood Forest Association and the Lawn and Garden Club, will provide tools and materials. If you don't have any tools, you can just bring your enthusiasm!

Can’t make it but still want to contribute? We are seeking donations of hostas and other plants. Your green contributions are just as valuable in making this event a success!
